PVPC’s daycare program is for the active social dog! We understand that some dog’s need that little bit extra to feel fulfilled, and that’s where we come in!

Are you worried about your dog while you are working extended work hours? Have your dog join us for the day walking and playing with other dogs on the roster and come home to a tired happy pup!

What's Required

To join our daycare roster, your dog must be:

Well socialized with other dogs
Comfortable with transportation
Experienced with basic leash manners
Displays minimal to no leash reactivity
Displays minimal to no resource guarding
Physically capable of completing multiple hours of exercise
Up to date on vaccinations/flea & tick preventative

Cost

Your dog will be travelling by vehicle to different locations for walking. If your dog is a heavy puller or is struggling with leash etiquette, we often implement tools to aid such as a Gentle Leader for safety.

Does PVPC provide services for clients outside their radius?
At this time we only serve the Hamilton core, Ancaster and Stoney Creek for dog walking and pet visits. We definitely invite clients from outside our service area for daycare and boarding, yet we do not offer pick up/drop off.
