Service

PVPC’s boarding experience cannot be matched by a kennel. Your dog will feel safe and comfortable living amongst our caregivers, their dogs, and our fellow guests, while you are away.

Your dog becomes a member of our family during their stay and receives all the love, care and attention they deserve.

Your dog’s stay will include care of their needs such as scheduled feedings and unlimited access to water, walks, daycare, play, canine socialization, medical administration if needed, and of course lots of cuddles and attention!

What's Required

It is important to us to form a bond with your dog so they feel comfortable and relaxed while in our care. To join our boarding program, your dog must be:

  • Comfortable in our homes and pass a boarding trial night (a requirement for dogs who are not a regular on the roster)
  • Well-mannered in the home (non-destructive, no excessive barking)
  • Potty trained
  • Express minimal to no separation anxiety
  • Display minimal to no resource guarding
  • Spayed/neutered
  • Up to date on vaccinations / flea & tick preventative
  • Comfortable sharing a space with a variety of dogs (no aggression)

Cost

All pricing is subject to HST.

  • Boarding$60

    For 24 hours.

  • Boarding+ $40

    For additional dog and must be from same household.

  • Boarding for Puppies$70

    For 24 hours. Dogs under 1 year old.

  • Boarding Daycare+ $30

    Applied after 24 hour mark.

  • Boarding Daycare + $10

    For additional dog.

  • Late Pick Up Fee+ $15
  • Late Pick Up Fee+ $5

    For additional dog.

  • Holiday Rate+ $20
  • Holiday Rate+ $10

    For additional dog.

  • Trial Boarding Night$60

    Required for first time boarders and if dog is not a regular participant of our dog walking service.

  • Does PVPC provide services for clients outside their radius?

    At this time we only serve the Hamilton core, Ancaster and Stoney Creek for dog walking and pet visits. We definitely invite clients from outside our service area for daycare and boarding, yet we do not offer pick up/drop off.
